Cameron Hills encompasses more than the development that took its name. Antelope Hills is included in the neighborhood that’s located in the southern part of Fremont, California. The neighborhood is bordered by Washington Boulevard to the north, Durham Road to the south, Paseo Padre Parkway to the east and Osgood Road to the west.

The Cameron Hills neighborhood was developed in the 1970s and 1980s, with most of the homes built between 1955 and 1985. Primarily a residential neighborhood, Cameron Hills is a mix of single-family homes and townhomes. The neighborhood is known for its well-maintained homes and quiet streets. The Sabercat Trail and Sabercat Historical Park, located in the center of the neighborhood, provides recreational opportunities for residents. Also located in the Cameron Hills neighborhood of the greater Mission area is Washington Township Museum of Local History is a historical museum on Anza Street.

Cameron Hills is located near several major transportation corridors, including 238, I-880 and I-680, which provide easy access to other parts of the Bay Area. Obviously, Fremont as a city wasn’t even on the radar when Cameron Hills was built out and here it is considered part of Silicon Valley. Tech companies such as, Meta, Lam Research, Apple, Western Digital, Seagate, Boehringer Ingelheim, ThermoFisher and Tesla to name a few, are a short commute.
 
Fremont, having been voted the happiest City in America In recent years, has become increasingly attractive to a large diverse population of immigrants recruited for tech jobs from countries such as India and China to name a few. Cameron Hills’ popularity is no surprise with great shopping nearby with a variety of restaurants and shops to please its residents. Pacific Commons Shopping Center, built on 840 acres of the former Fremont Dragstrip/Baylands Raceway Park is a large retail and mixed use development and an important addition to the area supplying a growing population with restaurants, movie theaters, clothing and shoe stores as well as big box stores.
 
Overall, Cameron Hills is a unique neighborhood with a rich history and a strong sense of community. Its mix of historic architecture, recreational opportunities, and convenient location make it a popular destination for future residents and visitors alike. Still today, you can find cows and horses peacefully grazing on the rolling hills. Fremont Real Estate - a solid investment. Cameron Hills homes are very desirable and often in short supply.
